(Beirut): International Music Festival of Tyre, 2015, has received a massive and unexpected response from musicians coming from all around the world: Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, France, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Spain, Russia, India, Cameroon, Togo, Holland, England, and, of course, Lebanon.
Now Istanbouli Theatre is undergoing the evaluation process in order to release as soon as possible the programme related to International Music Festival of Tyre, 2015, that will be disseminated through the Festival page and press media once completely defined. As already stated it is the goal of the Festival to gather musicians from around the world in the city of Tyre and to promote young performers and entrepeneurs involved on the Music sector, so that they can share their experiences and performances during this International musical event with the population of the city.
The International Music Festival of Tyre 2015 will take place at AL HAMRA Cinema, the Theatre which opened last year 2014 through the efforts of Kassem Istanbouli and a team of young volunteers from the city after being closed for over 30 years. Since its reopening Istanbouli Theatre has organized the InternationalTheatre Festival in June 2014 and the International Film Festival last October.
Al Hamra is one of the most important and historic theaters in Lebanon, the main point of reference in Tyre for the Performing Arts during the golden age of theater and cinema in Lebanon, and its stage has hosted the most important artists of Lebanon and the Arabic countries: Chouchou, Duraid Laham, Mahmoud Darwish,Marcel Khalife, Sheikh Imam, Samira Tawfiq, Nasri Shamseddine, Remi Bandali.
