Instagram is on strike since Nuqat – a platform to develop Arab creativity on all levels” including design, advertising, communication that connects and architecture, fashion, production – announced a dual launch of:  Nuqat upcoming seminar taking place from 7 – 12 November, and the launch of new young Kuwaiti initiative creative networking YOURAOK.

The dual launch is going to be in a two-days events celebrating creativity and culture titled “The Shift” on May 28 & 29 at Al Hamra Skylounge at 6:30 PM. Day One will be a discussion panel “Exploring a Cultural Shift” by various speakers moderated by Saudi Art advisor and curator Raneem Farsi. The speakers will discuss how we witness the cultural and creative shift Participating speakers are: founders of AGi Architects Dr. Nasser Abdulhassan, Joaquin Perez. Dr. Alanoud Al Sharekh, Architect Barrak AlBabtain and graphic designer/artist Mohammed Abu Hekmeh.

Day one of The Shift will also feature the official launch of a new creative networking YOURAoK an initiative from the popular platform ArchofKuwait which as I can see from their instagram feature young creatives in 3 sectors: Talent, Firm, Product. Further details will be revealed on May 28 6:30 PM at The Shift. This event is open for public but there are limited seats, Doors close at 7pm.

Last day of The Shift will be a comedy show by Sheikha Al Khaldi, Moayad Al Nafaie and The Improvengers.. limited tickets for the comedy show are available on http://www.gotapnow.com/nuqat .

Had to wait for image to be clearer after the teaser campaign both Nuqat & YOURAoK started since last week, and as I finish this post I just received an email of the event 🙂
