Impact: Black AIDS Institute Auction by Artsy

Artsy is honored to present Impact: Black AIDS Institute, an auction in support of ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Black community in the United States. In honor of U.S. Pride Month and celebrating equality, freedom and people’s rights to control their own lives and bodies, Artsy will be donating a portion of the Buyer’s Premium to Black AIDS Institute, an organization established by Black members of the LGBTQ+ community to directly challenge the systems of oppression that marginalize Black health and advocate for a more equitable treatment. This sale spotlights exemplary works by a group of emerging and critically acclaimed artists, including Khari Turner, Zanele Muholi, and Jeffrey Cheung.

Bidding is open exclusively on Artsy and will begin to close on Friday, June 24th at 12pm EDT.

Each work ships from a different location, as noted on the individual lot page. Please reach out to specialist@artsy.net for any further information. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

The countdown timer on the artwork pages will display the end time for the lot. Each lot closes in 1-minute increments and will be reset to 2 minutes if a bid is placed within the 2 minutes before the lot’s scheduled closing time. For further information please see our FAQ.
