Kuwait was fashionably rocked last weekend with the wave of Style Me Kuwait , a two days event that is first of its kind in the country where not only new brands & designers but also named Kuwait Top Stylist! Thanks to PR Passion by passion driven Tara Sillery, Style Me Kuwait was a celebration for talented stylists in Kuwait and the region’s top designers!
Style Me Kuwait had two aspects, the designers and the stylist competition. The first day, June 1, was an introduction to all the brands & designers participating in Style Me Kuwait which was a variety of top vendors from the region: 4C (Dubai), Lab 8 (Kuwait), Caroline Monick (Paris), Hamra Alam (Bahrain), Khulood Al Thani (Dubai), Naz Canoon (Dubai), Amal Halaq (Dubai) and Palestyle (Dubai).
First day of Style Me Kuwait also launched a 2 days workshop for stylists in Kuwait held by International Stylist and Founder of Image Factor Marissa Woods providing them with tips to become a professional stylist.
Day two was held in Contemporary Art Platform (CAP) where art and fashion mingled! The Designers set up booths for purchasing and showcased their latest collections. Carefully selected, the designers shared their passion for either clothes, fine jewellery, haute coutur, or must-have accessories. Not only were the designs unique, but there was also innovation and trend-challenge!

Backstage, the five competing Stylist were preparing for their big challenge putting together their experiences & what they have learned from the workshops to present a winning look! Kuwait’s Top Stylist was judged by a panel of celebrity judges where the winner will be given a break into the fashion industry as a professional stylist and get to take home amazing prizes.

When day 2 has almost come to an end, Kuwait Top Stylist was annonced, young and beautiful Mayce Al Mostafa is a name to remember ladies because she won a well-deserved title with her fairytale inspiration, solid concept, and a strong implementation. Congrats for Mayce and a big thank you for Tara Sillery – PR Passion for the great efforts they put together to introduce a new competition for a well-fashioned country and give oppertunity for talented people to be heared and seen! We are waiting for a come back next year 🙂
