Artistic Trip: How to Spend 24 Hours in Dubai?

Last February, I had a layover in Dubai for 24 hours after The International Leadership Program for Visual Art Management ILPVAM course in New York City. Checked in, got a cab and off to Gates Village at Dubai International Financial Center DIFC for a quick tour in 3 galleries, mainly to see Safwan Dahoul’s exhibition. Luckily, not only did I see three exhibitions but also had the chance to pass by Dahoul’s studio for long chats, sneak view at his latest – which I can’t post :p and a tasteful coffee. Enjoy the show…

My artistic quick tour included:

Ayyam Gallery: Safwan Dahoul’s Almost A Dream

ARTSPACE Dubai: Samira Alikhanzadeh, Mohamed Taman and Mohamed Abla’s GROUP EXHIBITION

The Empty Quarter: Roland & Sabrina Michaud A Love Without Frontiers

With great company and beautiful artworks & your iPhone… that’s how you spend 24 hours in Dubai!

Cheers
